A 10.6mm (GERMAN ORDNANCE) SIX-SHOT SERVICE REVOLVER, MODEL '1883', serial no. 9759,
and dated for 1893, with two stage 4 1/2in. barrel, integral blade fore-sight, 'church window' fluted cylinder, solid frame with side safety and swing-out loading gate, smooth walnut bag-shaped grips, lanyard ring to heel, the back-strap marked '22.R. 8.3', complete with its scarce leather open-topped holster marked 'BECKER & CO, BERLIN' , the front ammunition flap inked internally with the date 1908 (buckle tab incomplete), and complete with its securing flap (2)
